POST-ELECTION AUDIT
Franklin County was one of eight counties selected for a hand-count audit during the post-election audit draw. The audit will be conducted on Monday, June 1st 9:30. It is open for public viewing. Due to limited available space in the election room, it will be broadcast to the TV for viewing in the Board Room in the Courthouse.

2026 ELECTION DATES

November 3, 2026 - General Election
- August 17-28, 2026 - Magistrate Judges and Nonpartisan Candidate Filing Period
- August 28, 2026 - Ballot Question Submission Deadline for Political Subdivisions
- September 4, 2026 - Write-In Candidate Filing Deadline
- September 4, 2026 - Candidate Withdrawal Deadline
- October 13, 2026 - In Person Absentee Voting Begins
- October 23, 2026 - Mailed Absentee Ballot Request Deadline
- October 23, 2026 - Pre-Registration Deadline for the General Election
- October 30, 2026 - In-Person Absentee Voting ends
