Election Notices

As required by Section 34-1405 of the Idaho Code, notice is hereby given that Declarations of Candidacy for County Offices, including Independents and Precinct Committeemen, for the Primary Election to be held on May 19, 2026, must be filed between 9:00 am Monday, March 2 and 5:00 pm Friday, March 13. Candidates have the option to file online at voteidaho.gov or the Franklin County Clerk’s Office. Declaration and Petitions of Candidacy may be picked up at the Franklin County Clerk’s Office for the following offices:

The Primary Election will be held 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on May 19, 2026. Individuals who run as write-in candidates must file by 5:00 pm on March 20, 2026 at voteidaho.gov or with the Franklin County Clerk.
