Franklin County is currently accepting applications for seasonal watercraft inspectors for the 2026 season at the Franklin, Idaho boat check station. The purpose of this check station is to prevent aquatic invasive species such as quagga and zebra mussels from invading the waterways of our region and state. Duties include inspecting and pressure washing boats, selling invasive species stickers, and other duties as assigned. Work will begin the end of March and run through the end of October. Pay starts at $15 an hour. Afternoon shifts, holidays, and weekends are required. Send an email request to sarahl@fcidaho.us or call (208) 852-0610 for an application.
